Searching for a car

So most people know by now that Matt was in a car accident 2 weeks ago. He was not seriously hurt. PTL!But now we have to car shop since his car was totaled (someday Matt will show me how to post pictures). I hate car shopping. Yuck Yuck Yuck. Too much stress. I need less stress these days. Can you buy destress in a can at WalMart? They sell spray on duck tape! Going tomorrow to check out a possibility. Hope it is what the Lord has for us. We don't want it otherwise. Say a prayer for us.

1st post

Hi! Not sure about all this blog stuff. But decided to jump on the band wagon and give it a whirl. Not sure how exciting or interesting we are but at least my mom will read it. Hi Mama! Maybe I'll learn how to post pics. I can get around the internet ok, and I know basic stuff, but other computer stuff just ain't my thing. I've been spoiled having a husband who works with computers. He just does it for me.

I guess since this is my 1st post I'll tell you a little about what has been going on in our lives. Gotta start with the kids. Kylie is 14 already and a freshman in high school (Gulp). She will start drivers training this summer. (double gulp) She is beautiful inside and out and is a super busy kid. She plays JV basketball, plays in pep band, helps teach K-4 basketball camp on Saturday's and maintains a 4.0. We are so proud!!!

Logan is 10 and a 4th grader. Growing way too fast, but so, so cute. He is pretty busy too. He is doing a basketball camp on Saturday's and loves it. He is also playing on a traveling basketball team. This is Coleman's first year giving this a try. So far it has gone well and everyone is having a blast. Homework this year has been a pain in his backside. Mine too. The first 3 days of the week are completely bombarded with homework. Fridays are truly a blessing. Why does a 4th grader need so much homework? UGH! Even with all of it he is an honor roll student. Again, so proud!

Matt keeps busy with work. It is always something. Nothing new there. He helped coach Logan's football team this fall and had so much fun that he is coaching Logan's traveling basketball team now. He loves it! He never misses any of Kylie's basketball games and sure knows how to yell from the stands. What a great dad!

I have no life except to run kids everywhere. They at least keep me busy. It is fun though watching the kids play sports. The only other thing that keeps me busy is Dr.'s appointments. This last year has been a rollercoaster of medical issues for me. Literally one after the other. Still not even close to being over. I have faith that everything will be fine, it just seems to take so long.

So, there you go. Our lives in a nutshell. How bored were you? I will probably try to post some pics soon and give this blog thing a go for a while. Matt and Kylie are both on Facebook. Check them out if you haven't already. They are way more exciting than me. I just don't quite get Facebook. One last thing, does anyone know a good church in our area?
